Life is much easier for the young. When you were in elementary school so may things were black or white, wrong or right. As we grew up we realized that there are actually many shades of gray in the world. Here at Sacred Heart we teach our students not only the courses necessary for success for their academic future, but how to successfully navigate the ever increasing gray areas of our society.

The vision of Sacred Heart is for our students to develop into young men and women who are deeply rooted in Christian traditions and fully utilize their God given abilities to serve God and the community. Through our religion classes and focus on Jesus we help the students find the way to best navigate the “gray areas” of life without contradicting their own Christian values. Through our core curriculum we enable our students to become critical thinkers, good decision makers, and future leaders of our society.

The mission of Sacred Heart of Jesus High School is to be a private, Roman Catholic, co-educational, liberal arts, college preparatory day school for appropriate Catechetical instruction in adherence to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church, and to effectively educate outstanding Christian men and women to be of service to God and to others.

We believe that a core curriculum based on the Catholic Christian philosophies of St. John Baptiste de la Salle and St. John Bosco pedagogy enhance a student's mental and spiritual development and in turn create a well-rounded, productive, and moral servant to the community and self. We believe that only by challenging the student can his or her full potential be reached. We believe that students who take an active role in the learning process can develop the ability to think creatively and then lead in a changing society.

Here at Sacred Heart of Jesus High School, we have adopted the Salesian method of Religion, Reason and Loving Kindness. This method was perfected by the great Saint John Bosco, who is depicted on the right.
